Prices revealed for new Volkswagen Passat

Prices have been revealed for the seventh generation Volkswagen Passat, which customers will be able to order from tomorrow.
The saloon version is to cost from £18,470 (RRP on the road) and £19,745 for the Estate.
Both examples were unveiled at the Paris Motor Show, which was held from October 2nd to 17th.
Features of the new Passats include six airbags, anti-lock braking system, electronic stabilisation programme) and whiplash-optimised head restraints, which are all fitted as standard.
"The best-selling version of the new Passat is forecast to be the SE 2.0-litre TDI 140 PS model; the Estate is expected to out-sell the saloon for the first time – accounting for around 53 per cent of total volume," a Volkswagen statement reads.
Earlier this month, another of Volkswagen's vehicles – the Amarok – was honoured with the International Pick-up Award 2011.
Set to be launched in the UK in 2011, the Amarok boasts a load area of 2.52 sq m.
