New Volkswagen Eos debuts in Los Angeles

Volkswagen's new Eos made its world debut at the Los Angeles Auto Show yesterday (November 17th).
The latest incarnation of the coupe cabriolet features a wide range of technical and visual enhancements.
It is set to go on sale in mainland Europe from mid-January, the UK in early March and the US from the end of March.
The vehicle will be available with a range of petrol and diesel engines, including a 1.4-litre TSI with 122 or 160 PS.
Variants featuring BlueMotion Technology will also be available and will have Stop/Start and battery regeneration systems to reduce emissions as well as fuel consumption.
"Further details will follow later this month when prices and specifications are revealed and UK Volkswagen retailers begin to take customer orders," a statement from the car manufacturer reads.
Earlier this month, another of Volkswagen's vehicles – the Golf blue-e-motion prototype electric car – was announced as the overall winner of the inaugural Future Car Challenge.
