Clear vision is essential for safe driving

It is essential that motorists have a clear view of the road when they are driving, otherwise their risk of being involved in an accident is increased.
This is according to car care specialist Armor All, which pointed to Department of Transport figures that showed vision-related issues were the contributory cause of ten per cent of all UK road accidents in 2009.
"Sun dazzle was the largest weather-related cause, responsible for over 2,600 accidents," Armor All explained.
The firm recommends motorists to regularly clean both the inside and outside of their windscreens to ensure they have the best view possible.
It said that people should also inspect their windscreen wiper blades regularly, replacing them if they look worn.
Back in November, Warranty Direct revealed that suspension arms are the car parts that are most likely to fail due to wear, followed by ball joints.
Suspension arms cost an average of £230.60 to mend and ball joints set a motorist back an average of £223.80 to fix.
