Skoda vehicle does Austria to Denmark and back on one tank of fuel

A Skoda Fabia GreenLine II has been driven from Austria to Denmark and back on just one tank of fuel.
Gerhard Plattner, an Austrian economy-driving specialist, was the man behind the wheel during this challenge.
He managed to complete the 1,246-mile route on a single 45-litre tank of fuel.
Dr Eckhard Scholz, head of technical development for Skoda Auto, said: "We work hard to reduce the fuel consumption in our vehicles."
"The primary goal of these efforts is to offer efficient technology in all of our models at affordable prices," he added.
To ensure no cheating took place, the trip was supervised by the International Police Motor Corporation and the fuel tank was sealed before Mr Plattner set out from Reutte.
Earlier this month, Skoda announced that it had delivered 78,200 vehicles to customers in April.
Also last month, the car manufacturer's worldwide sales increased by 23.7 per cent.
