Wales attempts to break own land speed record

Don Wales is to attempt to break the UK land speed record for an electric car at the weekend.
Mr Wales, who already holds the record, will make the attempt on the four-mile stretch of beach at Pendine Sands in South Wales.
He is also going to try to exceed the outright record set by his grandfather, Sir Malcolm Campbell, in 1925.
Next weekend's speed trial is part of the preparations for an attempt to break the 500 mph mark he will make in 2013.
The public are being invited to cheer the team along from 13:00 BST on Saturday July 2nd and from 14:00 BST on Sunday.
Bluebird Electric will use the events to raise awareness for their chosen charities – Help for Heroes, Wessex Heartbeat and the Royal Brompton and Harefield Hospitals.
Meanwhile, a recent report from the Institute of Advanced Motorists revealed that some 79 per cent of people are in support of the use of speed cameras in the UK.
