Audi launches limited edition R8 V8

Audi has launched a limited edition version of its R8 V8, which features a high level of standard equipment.
The new vehicle has been created in honour of Audi's tenth victory in the 24 Hours of Le Mans marathon race, which the car manufacturer's R8 sports prototype first won in 2000.
Just 100 examples are currently scheduled for production and it will feature titanium finish, 19 in, five-arm, double-spoke Y design alloy wheels.
"All normally optional metallic and pearl effect paint options will also be included in the limited edition price, but for maximum visual drama customers will be able to specify a striking titanium metallic paint finish," a statement from Audi reads.
The new vehicle will be available to order from July priced from £93,935 on the road and the first UK deliveries will be made in October.
Earlier this month, an Audi R8 Spyder was sold at the White Tie & Tiara auction in aid of the Elton John AIDS Foundation for £620,000.
