Is it time to check your rubbers into a tyre hotel?

Long range forecasters have predicted snow to start falling in the UK as early as next month, and with those predictions ringing in your ears it's about time to make preparations for winter weather driving.
That means adding super-strength screen wash, replacing broken windscreen wipers and topping up your anti-freeze.
As well as taking care of these minor issues it is also important to maintain the tyres and in some areas this could mean adding specialised winter tyres to cope with slippery, icy conditions.
ATS Euromaster has marked the unofficial end to the summer – brought about by terrible weather across the UK – to open its popular network of tyre hotels.
You can check-in your summer tyres for a well deserved winter break and fit a set of cold weather or winter tyres, which are specially designed to cope with low temperatures and wintery driving conditions.
Summer tyres only work to their full potential at temperatures above seven degrees, at which point they struggle to deal with the stresses and strains of cold weather driving, which may have disastrous consequences.
Rooms at the hotels are expected to be popular, especially after meteorologist and long-range forecaster James Madden's latest prediction that next month will bring below average temperatures – and even snow in places.
Mr Madden, of Exacta Weather, correctly predicted harsh winters in the last two years well in advance and has warned that heavier and more widespread snowstorms will hit the UK in November and worse will land in December and January.
ATS Euromaster's group operations director, Chris Hufflett, said: "No sooner has the new school term started than we are reminded that it's about to get colder – much colder.
"We believe drivers will want to be more prepared than ever this year, and cold weather tyres really do make the difference when the temperatures drop."
Can you afford to wait to book your spot in an ATS Euromaster tyre hotel?
