It's hard for me because I am super short (5 ft tall) so even when I adjust the headrest it's still not level plus I have to move the seat forward close to the steering wheel in order to hit the pedal. Got whiplash once many years ago and had to go to the chiropractor for it.

I thought the old one was pretty silly on the hazard awareness video. You got marked down for clicking when there was NOT a hazard - and yet driving on any street there are constant hazards, it's just that some are more unlikely than others.

The scaffolding on the left could fall over, a meteorite may fall on the road, or the driver of the car coming the other day might decide he's bored of driving on the left.

Speed limits on British motorways should be raised by at least 10mph or even more.
Modern cars are more than capable of taking advantage of higher speeds.
When I go on holiday, I regularly drive in excess of 100mph without any problem.

I would advise people to buy s second set of smaller, cheaper alloys or wheels and buy high performance winter tyres, you can simply swap them over when you need them.

It may cost a few hundred quid but they will last a good 3 or 4 winters and keep you and your family safe

I always use winter tyres, they are incredible.

The difference they make is like have summer tyres in summer, I'm
Driving normally on ice and snow and everyone else is wheel spinning and sliding around.

I have never told my insurance company, why should I? They will only try and claim its a modification so they can extort more money from me, the fact is it is aiding safety.

When would a charity known as 'BRAKE' ever not be against speed limits increasing? They have to disagree on principle, or else their very existence is pointless. Doesn't make them right.

This is idea has it’s pros and cons, but what happens in bad weather, like rain or fog?
I’ve driven along unlit stretches of motorway, like the M3/A3 and there are no Cat’s eyes in the road for you to follow, that makes it difficult in itself.
Also, road markings are worn away. Is there no such thing as reflective road markings (and I don’t mean ordinary road marking paint), like they use on the road signs?
Why can’t the motorway lights be dimmed to 50% at night? At least that way, you satisfy both sides of the argument.
Why didn’t I become a road engineer and sort out, our road network!?!
</blockquote>
