If you are planning on driving in Europe, with your own vehicle or a hired one, you have to be aware of the various regulations regarding equipment that MUST be carried with you. Depending on the country, these can include spare bulb kits, hi-vis vests, warning triangles, first aid kits, and fire extinguishers. You will also need a GB sticker or plate if you do not have the GB logo on your number plate.

Spare bulb kits are mandatory in many European countries, but it makes good sense to carry a spare bulb kit at all times wherever you are as it is illegal to drive with a blown bulb everywhere, including the UK!
