Upgrade and Standard Car Bulbs

At Autobulbs Direct Ltd we offer a full range of standard and upgrade car bulbs. All our standard and upgrade car bulbs require no vehicle modifications to install so are just a straight forward replacement to your existing bulbs. All replacement bulbs are fully 'e' marked and road legal with the exception of some high performance and specialist bulbs.

There are many types of car bulbs available and it is worth just spending a few minutes on deciding what type of replacement bulbs you require. If for example you are just replacing an existing standard halogen bulb this is an easy decision, however you may want to replace your bulbs with a longer life bulb which can last up to 3 times that of a standard bulb.

Alternatively you may want to upgrade your bulbs to a more HID xenon look, or have a blue tint. You may want the maximum amount of light on the road. You may be green and want to help save the planet with an Eco type bulb drawing less energy through new technology. All of these bulb types and styles are available, and to make it easier to choose we have laid out the main headlamp bulb types in categories as follows so that you can compare the differences:

High Vision

– Bulbs that give the maximum field of vision. These can be up to 90% brighter than a standard bulb.

Vision & Styling

– Bulbs that give an excellent field of vision but are also combined with a degree of styling.

Styling

– Bulbs that will give adequate light output but are geared toward styling i.e. white light or with a blue tint.

Eco & Long Life

– This range of bulbs offer excellent light output but are designed to last much longer than a standard bulb. Due to new technology the Eco type bulbs for example use less energy to give the same output.

Motorcycle & Scooter

– This range is designed especially for those of you on two wheels. It is as important to be seen as it is to see. Our range of motor cycle upgrade bulbs allow superb vision quality but due to the colour of the bulb allow you to stand out to other road users.

Van and Truck Bulbs

– A selection of 24v bulbs to suit trucks and vans that run on these higher voltage systems.Headlight, tail light, running light and internal lighting bulbs available.

LED Car bulbs

– Offers a whiter light and lower power consumption than standard halogen filament bulbs. Mostly used for internal lighting, indicators, brake lights and tail lights, LED Bulbs give a distinctive look, and with extremely long lives, will normally outlast the vehicle!

Other bulbs available include a comprehensive range of high performance and rally type bulbs (higher wattage) in white or blue, dashboard bulbs and HID (xenon) conversion kits.
