Bought to replace the original little tungsten type lamps in a motorcycle warning panel lights. struggling to see them in bright daylight especially the Neutral and Turn Indicator. Purchased the equivalent 286 LEDs and whilst not necessarily brighter is a purer whiter illumination which does the trick nicely.......sorted and of course uses next to no power.
Disadvantages: My one and only complaint is that on arrival the wife gave the package a cursory shake and she said it sounds like something is broken within ! I opened it up to find a little cardboard box which itself was adequately packed but the three LEDs where just loose in the cardboard box, no padding what so ever ! I do not know how robust these little LEDs are, mine survived the journey OK but would expect them to be packed with for example just a couple of inches of poly bubble wrap

A good replacement bulb for the factory fitted glass type. All the benefits of LED (low heat, long life etc). Only issue I had in my application of the bulbs in a heater control unit, is that the light is not radial in the same way as a glass bulb. the light is almost spot light like from the LED. This means that in this application it lights up a very specific part of the panel giving off little light to the surrounding area. In other applications this may not be an issue

I would recommend this company to anyone that's

Very good. Direct replacement for standard 1.2W panel bulbs. Much brighter looked at head on - seem to give out less light to sides. Might matter depending on application.

Tricky getting into the holder, the glass bulb slides in better than the plastic base of the LED replacement. Once in the bulbs look great, let's hope I don't have to change them to soon!
