Twenty20 has produced a 501 LED bulb that is perfect for number plate and interior applications with all 4 chips on one side that will give you all the light in exactly the place it is needed so making the most of the light output.
On most 501 LED bulbs you have a 360 degree light spread however with most interior and number plate fittings this means half the amount of light is lost behind the bulb due to how it sits in the fitting.
This bulb is also no bigger than a standard filament bulb so will fit into those tiny places where most LED’s just won’t fit due to them being bigger.

Advantages: So vehicle is more visible at the rear and when in the dark with lights on additional lighting to the floor area at the back of the car.

Disadvantages: one of the two bulbs i purchased had blown after about a year and a half. I’m not complaining because I’ve had many other bulbs that would never have even come close to that. Also, when I pulled the faulty bulb out from the rusted fitting in my van, after a year of salty, humid conditions, the bulb looked brand new, no rust. I know it has a 3 year warranty but for the cheap price and to save hassle with emails, I’ve just bought another two, one to replace the broken one and another as a spare

Fitted these to my 2011 Volvo C70 puddle lights. The 5W OEM bulbs were so dim that my son didn't even realise that the car had puddle lights. Now he does. Just a shame that Volvo don't turn them on when a door opens. Really bright and no light wasted as all the LED's are on the one side. Perfect for this application. They are a bit thicker than the glass bulb but they will go into the holder and I doubt that they will drop out.
Advantages: So much brighter than the OEM T5 bulb they replaced.

I don't really feel the need to make any comments on this excellent lamp - many have done that already (and I am not about to contradict any!) However it is worth noting for any who might be worried, these lamps can go in either way - ie they don't care about voltage polarity.

having bought push fit number plate LED bulbs in the past i didn't expect to see anything worthwhile commenting on but these seem to be printed on a thicker board than others, giving it a real nice secure fit. not to mention that the light off of them is mad bright, much brighter than the cheap LED's they're replacing.
Advantages: gold looking contacts. if so, should be good for longevity. good fit.mad bright. slim profile
Disadvantages: LED's only on one side so may have issues of polarity is reversed and needs to be flipped.

Very simple switchover for old halogen licence plate light. A billion times better and brighter, gives the car an automatic stylish upgraded look. Although none of the LED bulbs from the 20Twenty range can seem to get past my car's CANBUS System including this one.

Great item. I've used it to replace a yellow dull bulb in my glove box. It gives off a BRIGHT PURE WHITE light (no yellow at all). I love how it is flat and all of the light is on the one side facing into my glove box cos it means no light is being wasted where it can't be seen. I won't ever buy a normal bulb again now as LED bulbs are so much better. It was a LITTLE BIT tricky to fit into place but I think that was the bulb holders fault not the bulb itself. The price of this bulb is good. Delivery was quick too. This bulb works brilliantly with the CANBUS system and it hasn't thrown up a warning since fitting over a week ago. Highly recommend it to anyone.
Advantages: Bright pure white light, No CANBUS warning at all, The bulb is flat and the light comes from one side which is perfect for glove boxes or interior lights where light needs to shine in a certain direction. Good price, Fast delivery. Recommend them to anyone and I will buy again when it eventually needs to be replaced.
Disadvantages: Could possibly be tricky to fit although this will depend on the bulb holder you're putting it into as some can be tighter than others. You may have to adjust the terminals slightly like I did to open the space up a bit or push the bulb in with a firmer push, either way they will go in one way or another. Your car may be a lot easier to fit them into, all cars are different.

Not sure in CANBUS works as I have this in the glovebox so can't comment.

BRIGHT BRIGHT BRIGHTER. Fantastic levels of light comes out of these lights I was astonished at these bulbs how bright they were.
Didn't Suit my application on my trailer however if they were on the front of my pickup they would have been awesome.
Make sure your aware these are around 16w which are very bright.
Advantages: Loads of Light, Fantastic Bulb, Priced reasonable.
Disadvantages: Not for my application which buyers need to be aware of, as these are brilliantly bright.
