a nice pair of replacement wipers, which do the job without judder, smearing or squealing, and make the appearance of 'moth splat' less of an issue.

note - the twin pack for a 2001 vauxhall astra contains two 20" wipers, the standard fit from the factory is one 20" for the driver's side and a 18" for the passenger side.

this is not a problem, as the 'larger' passenger size fits quite nicely.

Advantages: my windscreen is cleaner

Disadvantages: the moths are still suicidal.
