These bulbs made a significant improvement in visibility when driving on the dipped beam on single-lane roads (as opposed to dual carriageways) at night, especially with oncoming traffic..
Advantages: Clearer visibility especially of the kerb side.
Disadvantages: Occasionally you get flashed by on coming traffic who think you are on full beam when you are not.

I didn't respond right away as I hadn't tried these bulbs, but, I have now fitted both head & dipped bulbs & am totally delighted with them,, my wife too says they are much brighter & further reaching than originally fitted bulbs.

Frankly I kind of expected a bit more after reading the "150%" in the specs....
As only one headlight was burnt, replacing it I was able to compare the original one with the new one (did it on night time, on the a wall).
I couldn't see much difference in terms of power or colour; just a bit whiter and a bit less focused in my view.
Still, not bad at all.

These are great bulbs. Lots of light emitted from them with a solid light pattern. Tested lots of different bulbs over the years and these are up there. One of the best halogen upgraded bulbs you can buy.
Advantages: Good light pattern and bright light emission
Disadvantages: Potential issues with longevity but that's the price you pay for upgraded bulbs. A small price to pay for being able to see clearly at night and in bad weather.

Have used these as replacement to the Ring Ultima 130. The Ring ones were good and better than standard but the Osram ones are even better than Ring.
Great service from Autobulbs direct, as usual.
Advantages: Bright white light. Distance is also good.
Disadvantages: Stronger bulbs dont last as long as regular bulbs but it should be at least a year and guaranteed for that anyway. Inconvenience and cost of replacing more frequently than standard is small price to pay for safety of the better vision.
