My Land Rover Discovery is a bulky car and even with the benefit of the rear camera it can be awkward manoeuvring particularly in the dark. The standard incandescent bulbs put out a poor level of light whereas these led lamps from ABD transform the light output and rear visibility. Much more light output and a far greater and wider throw makes it so much easier. Thoroughly recommend them.
Advantages: Cool, clear white light output gives much improved definition.
Increased light projection - both distance and width - makes it easier to be aware of your surroundings when reversing.
Disadvantages: Can't think of any . . . . . . . unless there is an issue when it comes to MoT time?!

These were replacements for earlier spec LED bulbs where one failed to work from new. These new higher spec versions were supplied as replacement FREE OF CHARGE by Autobulbs Direct. Their customer service was 100% excellent and they were very helpful in dealing with the exchange - and quickly. I have bought bulbs of all types from them before over a number of years and never had an issue, so the product quality always proved good and customer service now proven excellent as well. Impressive all round.
Advantages: These bulbs used on a KIA Picasso (2019 JA model) to replace the DRLs which where the std filament bulbs, being a dull creamy colour. These LEDs are white and consume much less electrical power without being overbright - comparable with newer vehicles - they do not dazzle.
Disadvantages: No disadvantages. They are more expensive than filament bulbs but the resulting overall improvement is very worthwhile.

And very helpful advice on whether to install led reversing Bulbs , it means I can 100% reverse into dark parking areas.

Fitted to my 2007 Mercedes ML as reverse lights. No errors, which is fantastic because my car threw errors on other (more well known) brand bulbs. I mainly bought them to aid with lighting up the rear of the car for the reversing camera, which doesn't have infrared. A touch expensive but worth the money.
Advantages: Extremely Bright, No Errors.
Disadvantages: A bit larger than the original bulb so check the housing it will sit inside.

I have had no faults showing on the dash unlike some others from eBay.

I bought these bulbs to use for my reversing lights. These bulbs are seriously bright and light up a very large area behind the car and way beyond. They are so good I just purchased another set to put on my VW Transporter.
Advantages: The brightness of these little bulbs has to be seen to be believed.

Bulb much brighter but does give a bulb failure warning every time you start the car which goes out when you go into reverse or cancel the warning.
Advantages: Brighter and hopefully longer life
Disadvantages: Did not solve my problem of unable to see clearly in reverse in the Mini All4 but that is down to the car having only 1 light. However that is the car design not the bulbs fault.

I bought these lamps to maximise the illumination from the reversing lights of my Mk4 Golf. Definitely brighter but I also replaced the 'smoked' light clusters with 'clear' versions at the same time.
Advantages: Good price, quickly delivered and a like-for-like replacement. No errors on the dashboard.
