LED and HID Resistor Kit For Headlight And Foglight Bulbs
There really is nothing more annoying than installing your brand new LED or HID headlights only to find out your car causes them to flicker or brings up a warning light on the dash! Well Twenty20 could not agree more which is why they have developed this CANBus decoder.
This unit can be used on both LED kits and HID kits and is a simple plug and play system with no cutting or splicing of wires making this an easy fix for those pesky issues.
Please note: These decoders have been developed and tested to work with the Twenty20 LED headlights and the HIDS4U Stealth HID kits. While they may also work with some other products, we cannot guarantee the results. Some other LED/HID products that are of a different quality will still produce errors even when used alongside these decoders.
Compact Design
With a sleek compact design these can usually fit into the headlight unit on most vehicles so can be hidden out of the way and no need to mount in the engine bay.

They don't look like the photo in any way. Rectangular device approx. 5cm x 3cm x 1cm if memory serves me correctly. Larger than I hoped as I needed to fit them inside the lamp unit on our Volvo V50. I made them fit by using heavy duty Velcro to stick them to the "ceiling" of the lamp enclosure while the driver for the LED bulb was fixed using the same method to the "floor". They do what they say and cancel errors on the dash. I have ABD LED bulbs that are supposed to cancel errors but after about 12 months they stop doing that but the bulb keeps working. When they were in warranty I used to get the bulbs changed but I opted for these instead when out of warranty as a cheaper solution. So far so good.
Advantages: Work as advertised.
Disadvantages: They aren't as compact as I hoped.

Used these on 2013 Mini Cooper. I had swapped up the halogen for LED's, Twenty20 but although lights worked ok got flickering when I started the car (flickering lasts just a few seconds) and warning on the dash every few minutes
There is actually a pair of these in the box, which isn't mentioned on the website.
Easy to fit there is only one way they can get plugged in the only thing is what to do with these once they are hanging in the space behind the bulb.
They come with small zip ties and some self adhesive pads, very little in the way of a flat surface to stick these on.
I ended up using the zip ties doubling the wires over. I will have a look in a couple of weeks and check all is ok
Happy to report the flickering and alarms have both stopped and the Twenty20 LED's are really great so much better than the halogen
I want to change the smaller side lights as well but not sure if i will need a pair of these for those as well
Advantages: Stopped Flickering on start up and dash warning lights
Disadvantages: Difficult to know where to put them once they are fitted to the light bulb holders

These can bus decoders has stopped the LED bulbs from flashing when my wife starts up her BMW mini clubman.
Advantages: Can keep using the lovely bright LED headlamps instead of the standard halogen candles!
Disadvantages: The can bus decoders are a little bulky but with a little bit of fettling can be neatly installed by cutting a small hole on one side of the plastic back lid of lamp housing to allow cable to exit.

2014 VW Amarok... I’d fitted the twenty20 H7 led bulbs, but noticed the bulb failure light appear on the dashboard. So I spoke to Kim, in ABD customer service, who recommended these decoders, which DO come as a pair (doesn’t say that on the website), and arrived within a couple of days of ordering.
I connected the decoders to each side, and bingo... no more bulb warning light in the dashboard!! Job done! .
Advantages: Very cheap way of removing the bulb failure light from your dashboard.
Disadvantages: No instructions included, which was initially ok, as they are plug and play... however, there was an additional wire and fuse that I had no clue what to do with. I didn’t end up needing it, but I do worry it’s meant to be attached to something.
