ABD are brilliant to deal with. They still have good customer service as a core value. Thats so rare now. I missed out on a discount (my fault) I emailed amd explained, they replied quickly and with no hassle made a partial refund for the discount code amount. They even had them delivered faster than they stated.
The bars themselves are good. TIP: get them set up where you need them on your bars. Then cut the rubber to suit length between the clamps and any bits from clamps to the cap ends.

Advantages: Buying a good product from a good company.

ABD offered these roof bars at a competitive price and with the quick delivery, I was able to make a 450 mile trip to collect some auction items on time; so my sincere thanks for your promptness.


Advantages: These roof bars are well made yet weight little and not noisy.
Being able to clamp onto existing flush roof rails can be an issue, but the fittings are strong and the mechanism makes a secure connection.
Each bar can be adjusted to the exact width between the rails, which is important as the Volvo rails taper from front to back. (The back is several cm narrower).

Disadvantages: The instructions are not very clear how the rubber strip is fitted. It goes in the slot underneath the bar to reduce wind noise. Not the easiest of jobs, but a blunt flat-blade screwdriver will help.
The locks on the end covers can be very stiff on first use. Some silicon spray is advised.

The product fits well, looks good and has rubber strips that cuts out noise when driving.

Advantages: Allows you to use your roof space especially when carrying long items like 4x3x150 (inches) wood etc. if the items and the roof bars secured correctly.
For security the bars are lockable.

Disadvantages: Can’t use this if you want to travel to the moon!
